Beth Edwards Nutrition
T1D nutrition and person-centred partnership to hold you in the messiness of type 1 life. This is not a health condition to fix, but a bellyful of experiences to navigate.
Beth runs a thriving psycho-nutritional clinic over Zoom, partnering with T1Ds like you to make life with this high-level chronic condition a little bit lighter. Her style blends nutrition, psychology, coaching, and advocacy to offer person-centred, life-changing nutrition advice that meets you where you’re at. When she’s working with T1Ds and their families, what’s most important to her is holding space for them to feel seen and heard. Once the relational is established, the nutritional and lifestyle recommendations come next.
Let me show you how.
Let me help you find ease with your T1D
1:1 nutrition partnership
Modern-day life is a chaotic affair. Modern-day life alongside type 1 diabetes is that little bit more chaotic. Whether you’ve been recently diagnosed and feel overwhelmed with diverging opinions online, or if you’re an old hand at living with type 1 diabetes but feel saturated with nutrition information, I see you. There’s a lot of noise out there and it’s getting noisier. I’m here to cut through that. I blend 1:1 personalised nutrition coaching with health psychology strategies that make life with type 1 diabetes a little bit easier.
t1d support guides
Through my years of working 1:1 with t1d clients (adults, children, teens and families), I've collated a portfolio of self-led guides, jam-packed full of evidence-based recommendations directly from the Beth Edwards Nutrition clinic. These guides are for anyone looking to get a better handle on their condition, and are an ideal place to dip your toe into the world of psycho-nutrition support for type 1 diabetes. And they're cheaper than my 1:1 work!
consultancy work
I help brands engage with scientific health advice so they can better communicate with consumers, and create products that promote good health and sustainability. I’m available to zhuzh up your website copy, and produce striking communications that get you closer to your ideal customer. Corporate wellness and education is a passion, and I regularly deliver in-person and online training sessions for health brands. I am a thought-leader in the diabetes space and am regularly invited to speak at events or on podcasts.
Meet Beth
Beth is a BANT-registered nutritional therapist with a background in psychology (two degrees & counting!). She is utterly obsessed with putting type 1 diabetes on the map, holding space for people living with T1D, and uplifting their voices so that we can break free of the stigmas and isolation that often co-occur with this condition. She’s lived with T1D since she was 9, so this is support for T1Ds, by someone with T1D.
It’s my belief that if you’re reading this, it’s because either the support you’ve received so far doesn’t seem to cut it - either it’s not working for you, or you’re not getting much of it - or you want help from someone who truly gets it. The CGM alarms, the hypos after you’ve brushed your teeth, the post-meal spikes. And oh boy, do I get it.
The one thing that unites my clients, whether they’re a childminder or a coffee roaster, is that they share a desire to live life with T1D on their own terms, they want to be the best versions of themselves, and they refuse to settle for anything less than optimal health. I help them make that happen and I can do the same for you.

Let’s see if we’re a good fit!
Hands down, one of the biggest concerns I've faced in my t1d tenure was how I'd be able to manage pregnancy. I did it! And it was hard, but manageable. I learned a buttload along the way, and if I were do t1d pregnancy again, this is what I'd do differently.
